Summer Fun Part 4 - Tennessee

The entire Cooper Family spent a week in Sevierville, Tennessee.  We had a great time and kept very busy.  Our condo had several pools and putt-putt. We spent time in Pigeon Forge riding go-carts, playing putt-putt, going to an arcade, visiting The Island, and spending 2 days at Dollywood.  We also went hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  We saw a mom and baby black bears on the trail.  We also had a picnic with Nana & Pops and waded in the river. On the last day of the trip we went tubing on the Little River.  It was a lot of fun - although Jake got hurt on our second round of tubing.  He ended up being just fine after a little rest.

Summer Fun Part 3 - Hocking Hills, Ohio

We spent 4th of July in Hocking Hills, Ohio.  Again, it was a pretty rainy weekend (like every weekend this summer).  The State Park has really nice trails with pretty waterfalls.  We enjoyed hiking, biking, swimming, and the highlight of the trip was zip lining.

Summer Fun Part 2 - Boy's Camping Trip

The Boy's Camping Trip will probably need a new name since Hayden got to go along this year.  This year we went to Monroe Lake.  It was a pretty stormy weekend, but we managed to get out on the water some.  And, get pretty muddy also.

Summer Fun Part 1 - Wyoming

We have had a very busy summer and I haven't gotten around to posting much about it.  Summer began with a trip to Wyoming to visit Geoff, Kat, Peyton, & Logan.  Chris also came to visit for several days and brought along his drone, which was a lot of fun.

Checking out the bison at the Terry Bison Ranch.

We stopped at a soda fountain in Wilson, Kansas.  We were pleasantly surprised to find that tt was home to the World's Largest Czech Egg and also had a Dragon as their school mascot (although their colors were purple).

Ruh-Roh Carson is 5

Carson celebrated his 5th birthday with a Scooby Doo themed party.  He has his friends over for a party first and then had his family party also.

Final Four

The NCAA Final Four was in Indianapolis this year.  Aunt Deb got us tickets to go on a behind the scenes tour at Lucas Oil Stadium.  We also participated in the Final Four Dribble.  The boys each got a basketball & t-shirt, then got to dribble on the streets downtown.

Easter

This year we had breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  We got to see the Easter Bunny, Boomer, and Rowdy and do some other fun stuff even though it was freezing cold.

Jake found an area all to himself.
Carson is somewhere in this mess of people.
Notice the amount in Jake's basket.  Poor Carson only got 1 egg:(
