Snow

We just got buried with about 12 inches of snow. The pictures below are from the first part of the storm where we had about 3 inches. Overnight, we got another 9 or so. Jake was having fun helping Daddy shovel the driveway. He really wanted to play in the snow, but he wouldn't keep his gloves on.

Arkansas Vacation

Mike & I went on a short vacation to Arkansas over Christmas break. The weather was nice and we were able to go hiking at several state parks and one national park.

The last three pictures are from Blanchard Springs Cavern. It was a small cave, but had really nice formations inside.

Christmas 2008

We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending a lot of time with family. Here are some highlights of Jake and his many gifts.

This horse was from Mamaw and Papaw. As you can see, Jake loved it.

Santa brought Jake an Elmo chair so Daddy could get his big chair back to himself. Jake had a tough time deciding where he was going to put his chair, but in the end Jake decided Elmo needed to be in the big chair!

Notice Jake in the window of his new tunnel from Santa.

Hi Mommy!

Mr. Potato Head!

Jake on his new tricycle from Great Grandma and Grandpa Gibson.

Jake got these cool Colts pants that Great Grandma Gibson made...

And he decided he had to try them on right away!
Off with the old.

And on with the new.

Jake was very excited when he opened his new toolbox from Uncle Matt and Aunt Erin.

During our Sharp Christmas gathering Hope and Jake became best buddies. Here they are sneaking into the back room to hold hands.
