Week 3 Update - A Few Days Late

First bath in the bathtub. Carson doesn't seem to mind baths too much. Jake always screamed a lot and still does when we wash his hair.

Practicing some tummy time. Carson really likes to move his head around, so we decided to try tummy time. He seems to like it so far.

We also had Jake's 3 year check up this week - postponed some by bedrest & baby. He is doing great! He was 3 feet 3 inches tall (80th percentile) and 32.8 pounds (60th percentile). Jake has been doing a great job with potty training. He is very excited about it and only had 2 accidents all week.

Week 2

Jake wanted to watch cartoons with Carson.

Jake thinks you can only eat cake with icing on a birthday, so we made a 1 week birthday cake for Carson since we were craving cake!

Carson is 1 week old!

Carson has been doing really well. He had his first doctor appointment this week and everything looked great. He's still really sleepy, but has been looking around more and more each day. Yesterday, he got his first hair wash - he wasn't too sure about that.

Jake's Update

Jake has been adjusting to life as a big brother pretty well. He likes to hold Carson and help change diapers. He's been getting pretty spoiled with gifts lately too, so I'm sure that helps his mood. We inherited a Jeep for Jake. He still hasn't figured out how to steer, but I'm sure he'll catch on soon. Jake also went to the pond and fed the fish with Nana yesterday.
