Carson's 2 month update

Carson was 12 pounds 14 ounces, 24 inches at his 2-month check-up.  He is getting more and more active each day.  He smiles a lot now. He recently discovered that he has hands and holds them together.  He is usually sleeping 7 hours straight at night, which is great.  He loves to sit outside in the evening and stare at his surroundings. However, his favorite thing to stare at is the ceiling fan in the living room.  This is what he is doing in the picture below. 

Carson also went on his first trip to a restaurant which is below.  He went to Bob Evans with Mommy, Mamaw, & Papaw.  It's funny because Jake's first restaurant was also Bob Evans with Mike, Nana & Pops.  You might think that must be our favorite place to go, but these are probably the only times we have been there in the last 3 years

Chillin' Outside

Carson likes to hang out outside now when it's not too sunny.  We sat out on the back porch for close to an hour a few nights ago.  The bottom picture is from Nana & Pops.  Carson was relaxing poolside in his cradle. 

Carson's Awake!

Carson is staying awake a lot longer now. He likes to lay on the floor or on his various toys and look around. He grabs onto things, like the caterpillar in the picture above. He also is getting better about his neck control. He doesn't seem to mind tummy time as long as he doesn't have to do it too long.

Memorial Day

Jake & Daddy went to Ft. Harrison on Memorial Day. They had a lot of fun riding bikes, hiking, and playing at the playground. Maybe next time Mommy & Carson can go too.
