Spring Break

The weather was pretty chilly this Spring Break, so we didn't get out much.  Carson watched the movie Frozen at least once a day during the break.  We had one very nice day so we went to the Zoo and White River Gardens to see the butterflies.  We spent the weekend in Brown County at the Abe Martin Lodge.  The boys really enjoyed the water park there.  Jake went down the water slide non-stop for 45 minutes straight.  Carson went down it once and that was enough - he had a rough trip down!  

Jake is 7

Jake just celebrated his 7th birthday.  He had a Turbo themed birthday this year.  We celebrated at Monkey Joes with his friends and Miss Amber made him a great Turbo cake.  The next day we celebrated with family at home.

Jake is much busier these days. He loves first grade.  He is involved in Boy Scouts and mini 4H.  He just finished basketball and is starting baseball soon.  His favorite things to do are play Wii and ride his bike.
